General Terms & Conditions
The following general terms and conditions apply to all products on the MaxLaser website. MaxLaser is a private company with limited liability based in the Republic of South Africa. By visiting our website and/or purchasing a product from MaxLaser, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be updated by us from time to time without notifying customers. Users should check if any updates were made when they visit the MaxLaser site.
The MaxLaser website offers information on a variety of laser machines, including but not limited to engravers, cutters, and laser cleaning machines. Users are able to submit queries to MaxLaser via our website if they’re interested in receiving more information. Users are also able to order machines through our website.
Prices for all products on the MaxLaser website are displayed in the national currency of South Africa. The price of the laser machines on our website include shipping to clients across the country.
Delivery fees are included in the price of our laser machines. The delivery will take several days provided we have the products you ordered in stock. For professional laser machines, clients receive training on how to use them and their software.
Confirmation of orders
When users place an order on the MaxLaser website, they constitute an offer to purchase products subject to this agreement. MaxLaser will accept your offer once we receive the payment for the products you order.
MaxLaser offers clients the option to pay off a laser machine over an agreed period of time. We retain the ownership of the product until it has been paid in full. After a client pays off the laser machine, it will belong to them.
The warranty on mechanical parts is 6 months from the invoice date for all hobby laser engraving and cutting machines. These machines also include a 30-day warranty for mirrors and the lens.
The normal warranty period for the mechanical parts of professional laser machines (engravers, cutters, markers, and cleaning machines) is 2 years from the invoice date. Professional laser engravers and laser cutters also come with a 1-year warranty on the air pump, exhaust system, air compressor, glass laser tube, and water chillers, as well as a 30-day warranty for the lens and mirrors. Professional laser markers include a 1-year warranty on the lens.
Professional metal laser cutters are products for which MaxLaser offers a 3-year warranty on all mechanical parts.
Procedures in the event of malfunctions
In the event of a malfunction, clients have the option of contacting the MaxLaser support. Our technicians are equipped with the knowledge to help guide the laser operator on how to fix the machine. Clients can talk with our technicians via telephone, WhatsApp, TeamViewer, and Zoom. In case a client is facing a problem that’s too technical, a technician will be sent to your location to provide assistance on the spot.
Clients have the right to request for a laser machine to be returned and swapped out within 7 days of delivery. Returns are considered justified only if the laser machine sent to you was found to be damaged and not in proper working condition.
